Ann creates murals and public artworks that help people notice what is already meaningful about a place.
Her work often combines figurative storytelling with elements of nature, light, and movement. She begins by learning about the setting and listening to the people who know it best. Those conversations reveal the histories, values, and unexpected details that make the final artwork specific rather than interchangeable.
Ann’s public-art practice includes the practical demands of permanent work: site responsiveness, durable materials, fabrication coordination, engineering collaboration, installation planning, and maintenance.
She works from Studio 2069 at Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment in Huntsville.
Full-project experience
From a 60-foot mural to a permanent bronze landmark.
Lift, commissioned for Mayfair Park in Huntsville, depicts a young girl running forward in imagined flight. Ann carried the project from clay modeling through foundry coordination, pedestal design, site planning, and installation.
Her sculpture practice demonstrates the planning and technical leadership behind her mural work. Mural commissions remain the focus of this website.
